Rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, the building preserves original elements such as Portuguese tiles, ornate ceilings and the Pombaline identity that continues to define this historic part of the city.

Throughout the interior spaces, past and present coexist naturally, creating an experience connected to Lisbon’s memory, tradition and character. Francisco Rodrigues da Cruz, known as Father Cruz, one of the most prominent religious figures in the city’s history, also lived here.
